International Innovation Workshop a huge success!

Darling Harbour, SYDNEY – Lipa Pharmaceuticals has successfully completed its inaugural ‘Innovation Workshop’ at the Park Royal Hotel. The full day event occurred on Wednesday October 28th with eight  international speakers,  covering a broad range of topics in the field of complementary medicine.

 The day was opened by Lipa CEO Dusko Pejnovic who stated “The complementary medicine industry in Australia is a vibrant and dynamic industry with 75-80% of Australians taking some form of complementary medicine. Lipa’s vision for the future is to continue to produce quality products with proven results not only for Australians but for the growing number of consumers of Australian made products around the world.”

 The theme for the event was “Innovation, Science, Success” with around 85 guests attending the event representing some 40 different companies ranging from raw material suppliers, distributors, researchers, regulatory experts and brand marketers. Leading experts spoke on new raw material innovations as well as presenting cutting edge science and taking questions relating to product concepts and emerging trends from around the globe.

 Highlights of the event included presentations showcasing; Almega PL® a unique polar lipid omega 3 source from algae; extracts produced using French Maritime Pine bark from Purextract France; Lutemax2020® and CurcuWIN® innovations from OmniActive health technologies; KSM-66® the world’s best ashwagandha; Blueness®, Careless® from Vital Solutions Germany; Gencor lifestage solutions with Testofen®, ActivAMP®; Affron® from Pharmactive Spain; and MenQ7® from Nattopharma Norway.

 The event closed with cocktail party hosted by OmniActive. Attendees had the pleasure of receiving liver detox shots supplied by Lipa Pharmaceuticals to help the body and mind recover from the big day. The success of the Innovation Workshop which presented 15 materials, over 35 human clinical studies and 100+ product concepts has ensured that the event will become an annual highlight of the Australian complementary medicine calendar moving forward with Lipa committed to extending its reputation as Australasia’s leading quality manufacturer into areas of Innovation and science.
